BACKLINE/EQUIPMENT RENTALS
What is backline? What types of rentals do you offer?
Backline refers to the instruments and equipment typically set up at the rear of a stage for performers to use, such as drum kits, amplifiers, keyboards, percussion, and related hardware. These items are often provided by a rental company or production team, so artists do not have to travel with their own gear. In addition to backline, we also offer a full complement of concert and marching percussion, staging, and some audio.
Do you deliver and pick up? What about set up?
Yes! We deliver up and down the East Coast, and ship nationwide. Set up and teardown are included in our delivery service (subject to union rules at some locations). Cartage service is also available.
Can I pick up the equipment myself?
Customer pick up is possible, but to protect our equipment, we have strict requirements. Please read our terms and conditions for more information.
What is your preferred method of contact?
Email! Because our success is largely determined by getting your order right, we prefer to receive all correspondence – especially rider requests – via email.

We are proudly located in the Discovery District on the University of Maryland campus.

As you approach the main road (Rivertech Court), you will see two identical buildings. We are located in the second building (the one farthest from Rivertech). Keep going past the first building, then immediately turn left (between the two buildings). About halfway down on your right side, you will see our logo above the entrance.
What if I need something last minute?
We are generally able to accommodate last minute/same day orders that come in by 3pm. Rush fees and surcharges may apply.
What types of payment do you accept?
Credit/debit cards (additional processing fees apply), ACH, Apple Pay, and check.
Do you sell your equipment?
No, we are not a retail store. We highly recommend Chuck Levin’s for any purchase needs – they’re great!
Do you rent audio equipment?
Because we also operate a rehearsal facility, we do have a modest amount of audio equipment available to rent, subject to availability.
For more robust audio needs, we are happy to connect you with our preferred audio vendors.
